I just listen to the podcast with Dr. Beckwith at the gym. I’m a long time listener to Sounds True’s offerings. This is my first encounter with Beckwith, and I rarely, bother to leave comments. However Beckwith’s teachings and insights struck me a truly deep level. Thank you for introducing me to this exceptional teacher.

God as Love/Beauty. Good one! The voice of the Spirit is soft, does not call out for our selfish gain, comfort, and convience, and if we give in to her we feel peace.
Prayer is about embracing reality the way it is without trying to get anything from it and with a tone that this is a good Universe. Ask how do love and supply function and how can they operate in my life.
If we want to change our way of being we can focus on the thoughts and words of a great teacher or on something that is going well in our life.
The purpose of our being here on this planet is not to collapse into a heap of fear but to express our gifts, unfold our soul, and serve evolution. We are not tempory. We will not die. Spiritual development is mostly about letting go of something.
Due to this man’s non-ordinary experiences as a young man he could have be diagnosed as mentally ill and the World could have lost a talented servant for the good, true, and beautiful. So glad it did not go that way. Thank you.

I am deeply touched by Mr. Beckwith’s interview with Sounds True. I have had very similar experiences and only realized that it was part of the ascension process after working with some very talented spiritual teachers. I thought I was going mad at first but now understand that my experiences was a gift from the universe. Bless you Sounds True for airing this interview.
