Interview: Jack Angelo

We at Sounds True recently asked a number of our authors two questions about the phenomena of 2012: 1) What is your view of the year 2012 being identified as a time of unprecedented collective change and transformation? and 2) In your view, what is the best way to respond to these challenging times? What can we do to align with the shift in a way that is most supportive of personal and collective transformation?

We are pleased to present healer and author Jack Angelo’s responses. For more information about Jack Angelo, please see www.jackangelo.com.

What is your view of the year 2012 being identified as a time of unprecedented collective change and transformation?

Throughout recorded history, certain people have predicted great changes to come. These times come and go, bringing both outer and inner changes to communities and to individuals. Each time the challenge is: “What will you do?” This challenge is always an opportunity to respond. Each response will be either fear-based or love-based. People will decide one or the other. Fear keeps us thinking, love keeps us feeling—feelings are the language of the soul.

In your view, what is the best way to respond to these challenging times? What can we do to align with the shift in a way that is most supportive of personal and collective evolution?

Not knowing their circumstances, we cannot know what is the “best” way for a person to respond. People cannot be ordered to have a love-based response, but they can be encouraged by example. Every moment is an opportunity to align with the heart, the higher self, the divine within—we do not have to wait until 2012, or any other “date”. Here, in the heart center, we will experience our oneness with all that is. When Oneness is an actual experience, the love-based response is seen as the way forward.
