Interviews with leading spiritual teachers and writers about their latest challenges—the "leading edge" of their work.

Thanks Jeff & Tami,
Best wishes with the upcoming book and thanks for your reflections.
After a lifetime of research in this area, I believe that we can ride only one horse and that there is a critical choice to make between what comes first: money or making a difference. One or the other becomes the foundation upon which we build our lives.
Masses of well-intentioned men and women ascribe to higher values in their hearts, but this seldom translates at a practical level. Corporations reflect this same shortcoming on a larger scale.
When an individual or institution truly exists to make a difference, our stakeholders will tell us. Stakeholders have a sixth sense. They know while we merely conjecture. What we tell ourselves in corporate meetings and boardrooms doesn’t really count.
Example: Can families dealing with mortgage lenders tell the difference between those who are self-serving and those truly trying to fulfill a mission? Awhile ago, perhaps not. Right now, I think the answer is a definite yes. The despicable behavior of many lending institutions has helped us all grow a second set of eyes.
May your efforts be bold and inspire many to take the higher road. That’s true leadership.

I loved this interview. It was alive and real because I felt that Tami Simon is asking questions from personal experience and again left no stone unturned. Very honest and straightforward. Organizations are a challenge and people running them are humans doing their best to stay honest and with integrity. Some or shall i say many sold out or went to sleep and forgot what we are here for. I am glad that there is such an organization that would help to wake other companies and corporation up. That is direly needed at this time – in ALL professions – business, medical – dental practices – and so on. It is important that the leader keep working on themselves so they won’t fall in a rut!
Thank you for the honest and true interviews. I love them and look forward to them!

Dear Jo-Ann and Lamees,
Thank you both for your comments. Tami and I sepnt most of last week in Austin at the Catalyzing Conscious Capitalism (C3) Summit, which was gathering principally of CEOs committed to Conscious Capitalism. It was incredible and truly inspiring. I have no doubt there is a significant sea change in motion, and certainly appreciate being so deeply connected to it and riding the wave.
Be well,
Jeff
