Interviews with leading spiritual teachers and writers about their latest challenges—the "leading edge" of their work.

Thank you Tami and Caroline.
May your vision for medical intuition in the 21st century come to fruition. Excellent interview!

Thank you for your work. Your interviews are incisive and inspiring. I’ve read and listened to Myss before and generally find her work compelling. Oddly, I was turned off by your conversation with her about medical intuition. I’m not sure why (or if it was “just me”) but I heard a tone of condescension on Myss’s part. This tone permeated the conversation even though your questions and comments were intelligent and, to my ears, framed in curiosity and genuineness. Perhaps Myss was annoyed or irritated by something unrelated or, perhaps, this was just part of my “lens.” I’d be curious to hear others’ comments on this and whether or not I was alone in this perception. Either way… Keep up the great work! Cheers.

Hi there,..
I listened to the interview with Caroline and I hadn’t listened to Carolyn speak for a while. This time it struck me how true her voice sounded with a new resonance , a new note , a new connection to her heart to the core of the matter from her core without the need to edit her talk in any way. It seemed Carolyn talked to Carolyn and no need to offer any other wisdom than the one she embodies and feels true, no need to alter herseld to teach anything . She seemed to talk from the place she lives and gives all her heart to. It strikes right to the core. I felt everything she said was so valuable to me because she embodied her wisdom completely. I truly learned something for my own evolution. It felt like a direct transmission from a great teacher who lives her talk and is passionate about her life without being lost in the great game.
Thank you! -Is.

I totally agree with Ian’s comments that she sounded angry and condescending, especially the bit where she says “are you nuts”. I have read her books but have never heard her speak. If I had heard this first I would never buy her books.

Elaine and Ian I have listened to plenty of Myss and can understand where you think you are coming from. Go and listen to the interview again and around 34 minutes in you will hear her say that it is all about ‘I’ and how ‘I’ perceive things not about blaming anybody else how you feel.
This is confronting and most don’t have the discipline to do this and rather stay in a perceived comfort zone.
Fantastic interview .

I listened with gratefulness to the clearly hardwon understandings and learnings of C. Myss – her clarity and conviction a breath of fresh air – and also to the open, curious respectful questions from Tami. My thots turned also to another interview that I’ve enjoyed – to the gentle wisdom and respectful style of Father Thomas Keating, and the current of relinquished love that swirled about him. The truth spoken in love is a lifetime of work – or is it solely a grace? – and a phrase more easily framed in word than in deed. O for a lifetime of desire wed with fortitude to reach that place….
