Jim Oliver is a composer, performer, sound healer, and educator who has been creating music for massage and healing for more than 30 years. His credits include an Emmy Award for the soundtrack to Life in the Stress Lane, which also features Oliver and his research on music and health. A former composer-in-residence at Robert Redford’s Sundance Institute, Oliver creates live and recorded healing music that is used in healthcare facilities across the country in the areas of childbirth, massage, pain management, and wellness.
