Supply Chain Manager/Director

Sounds True, a multimedia content provider specializing in spirituality and holistic living, is seeking a skilled manager to direct Sounds True's overall supply chain operations, including purchasing and inventory of raw materials, customer service/relations, selection of vendors, and distribution of our finished goods. This position will report to our Chief Operating Officer. While this person will have extensive experience in procurement and purchasing, this person will also be responsible for the overall functions of our Warehouse, Customer Service, and IT teams. This person will also be experienced in process improvement practices.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Identify and analyze areas of improvement
  • Develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations
  • Seek reliable vendors and suppliers and negotiate prices and contracts
  • Management of Purchasing, Customer Service, IT and Warehouse
  • Monitor supply chain activities

The ideal candidate:

  • Will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of specialty and have at least 10 years of experience in a related field
  • Has experience leading process improvement programs (e.g. Agile and Lean)

Online Marketing Manager

Sounds True, a multimedia content provider specializing in spirituality and holistic living, seeks an experienced self-starter to market our online events (e.g., the Self-Acceptance Project) and online courses (e.g., MBSR, Brené Brown, Thich Nhat Hanh, and Pema Chödrön, among many others). Primary responsibilities include writing compelling sales copy for long-form sell pages, microsites and emails; managing affiliate marketing efforts; originating email marketing trades; and coordinating online course/event development efforts. This is a working manager position and will report to the Chief Operating Officer.

Customer Relations Manager

Sounds True, a multimedia publishing company specializing in spirituality and holistic living, seeks a Customer Relations Manager to manage our customer service departments. The ideal candidate will have at least three years management experience, have great attention to detail, and will excel at problem-solving. The right candidate is an excellent communicator. App Developer

Sounds True, a multi-media publisher specializing in spirituality and holistic living, is seeking a talented app developer to join our team in Louisville, Colorado. Full time employment as well as contract employment will be considered. Qualified applicants have built and released several iOS applications into the app store and have good experience with PhoneGap. This job is on site, but for the perfect candidate we might have some flexibility here.

Desired skills:

  • 4+ years experience in professional software development (with at least 2 years developing mobile apps)
  • Experience with iTunes Connect
  • Strong PhoneGap experience
  • Strong iOS, Javascript, HTML5, and CSS skills
  • Client-side development experience including interfacing with back-end databases
  • Strong communications skills
  • Experience with responsive design websites/apps
  • Experience authenticating through ecom site
  • Ideal candidate will also have management experience

It is our hope that this candidate will take ownership of our existing apps and new apps strategy.

This first project will be to build our Sounds True Library App. This app will allow mobile users to download and play purchased content from their digital library. Subsequent projects likely include a free meditation app that includes community and the ability to make in-app purchases of guided meditations.
