Heaven is always training you to create and to use your power, but you usually don’t notice it. It’s not always about huge issues. It happens at the ground level, examples that are going on in your life all the time that you are not even aware of.

Every one of us senses “intuitive irritants.” You know how you say to yourself, “I have got to clean out the closet”—or “it’s time to balance my checkbook,” or “I should call my old friend.” It’s always the same annoying voice reminding you. You may think it’s no big deal. But I’m telling you, that annoying voice is deep and profound soul guidance, as odd as that may seem. The real issue is whether or not you will develop the capacity to say “yes.”

That’s the big deal. Little pieces of guidance, like “call your old friend,” don’t scare you. The fact that you do postpone them, that you fight them and become irritated, goes to show you what a really big deal it is. It is a deep soul lesson of hearing, recognizing guidance, saying “yes,” and taking action. When you can learn to act upon these small intuitive irritants, then you are prepared for the door to open and to hear divine instruction about greater things, like your soul’s purpose.

Stop dismissing your intuitive messages as insignificant. You may not realize this, but you are dismissing some of the most extraordinary opportunities in your life because the threads of your highest potential are often attached to what appears to be the most ordinary or intimidating of life’s choices.
