Customer Reviews for Yoga Prayer

Fabulous Yoga Prayer DVD! I have been searching for a yoga DVD that I liked well enough to buy for several years. When I saw this one, I found I couldn't leave the shop without purchasing it. Once I began practicing with the musical sequence, I was delighted with the spiritual music and the prayerful movements. A small group of us gathers to practice it together and now each person wants to buy her own copy as a DVD or DL. We should probably just buy a case!

I have been practicing yoga for over 40 years. After a recent illness lasting 6 months, a friend loaned this CD to me. I loved it so much I had to order my own copy. As a passionate practicing Catholic, I prayed my way through the illness to a deepened interior life; this DVD has been an inspiring aid both in restoring my physical strength and endurance and in complementing and revitalizing my prayer life. thank you.

Midst the many preparations for Christmas, I had one small opportunity to view the DVD. I did follow along and was actually able to at my age of 70. I've been taking yoga for four yrs an for the past three have led a session of stretching at an annual retreat I make each yr. I will be using Father's DVD this year Jan 27-29 as a guide for other retreatants. But only the beginning movements as thedifficulty level rises with each segment. Thanks Kathy from Pa.

The poses aren't hard for me, except for a couple. But he offers
modifications for the tough ones.
He includes warmup stretches.
Instead of Eastern music, the video
offers Western music with gospel lyrics. Good course. Definitely doable. I'll be using it more in coming days.

The poses selected aren't difficult.
I grew up Christian, so, for me, this is a feel-good exercise video. In the same way that Christians can practice Zen, Chrisitans can be true to their faith, when practicing yoga.
