This is a jewel of a finding. Though he has been dead for 30 years, he truly was a Mystic and it's a blessing to our culture today that those who knew him have been so generous to rekindle his sermons and lectures for us now. He is ageless in his consciousness and his delivery is a resurrection of a heart of the Black that can teach us wisdom and love. Well worth taking the time to listen, meditate, listen again and take his great sense of life into our own hearts so we might actually experience "unity".

Howard Thurman is a true prophet. Much food for thought, presented in a passionate manner. Wonderfully introduced and produced. I enjoyed this set a lot.

Reading Dr. Thurman’s books has provided me with precious spiritual food for my prayer and meditation practice. But listening to these voice recordings, which capture his prayerful inflection, introspective nuance and earnest delivery, has provided me with a depth of understanding and spiritual intimacy that cannot be translated by script. His timeless messages transport me not just back to his historic pulpit, but also to the vast spiritual consciousness that he sought to convey. Thanks to all who made these recordings possible. They are truly a gift.

I gave this to my husband after we listened to an excerpt from your email that we liked. He found the rest of the CD's hard to listen to as they had an intense kind of yelling preaching tone.

The introductions to each of the subjects by others is interesting and provides history about Thurman. However, it's very difficult to listen to Thurman speak. The sermons are slow and my attention drifts. Your description of this cd package was way off base. I expected more dynamic fare.
