This is the best book on marriage I have ever read. David Schnarch is a genius. Very soothing and calming. Schnarch works to dispell the myths of marriage and instead takes a radical approach that marriage is perfect....if we accept that we are meant as human beings to grow, then our partner is perfect for helping us do just that!

I've been married for 45 years. I wish i could have read this book 30 years ago (I wouldn't have understood it before then). Superb insights into what makes marriage and sex in marriage truly work.
