This is a beautiful, informed, peaceful introduction to three styles of meditation: shamata (calm-abiding), vipassana (observation), and metta (compassion). Shinzen Young shows how deeply he has integrated dharma ideal, values, and realizations. Young makes meditation accessible and presents it as absolutely natural. This presentation is a great way to start meditating.
