This book helped me to focus on appreciating and being grateful for what is already in my life. There are a lot of ideas and excercises. Very good for shifting one's perspective and increasing positive thinking,

Living with Gratitude is a book that has changed my life. I have Lou Gehrig Disease and living in Gratitude is the way I keep myself focused on the good things of life. I want to be grateful for simple things like being able to walk a little, being able to speak a little, being able to eat a little...rather than be bitter about losing these simple gifts of life that so many take for granted. I am living in the present moment joyfully through gratitude!

This is a fabulous contribution to the practices of gratitude. Angeles Arrien brings a cross-cultural perspective to the ways to keep the heart open and the human spirit perennially young. This book is an invaluable resource for revering the great gift of life. Thank you for publishing it.
