I've listened to The Yoga Matrix a few times over the last year. Without fail, in each case, I noticed something new or found a deeper connection with an idea or concept. Richard is a living wealth of knowledge, experience, and wisdom. His metaphorical discussions carry enough breadth and depth to be a lifetime of lessons.

I usually read a book and give it away because I know I won't revisit it. While I have loaned these CDs out a couple times, I always kept track and made sure to get them back!

If you are considering purchasing a book on yoga, my advice is DON'T do it. If, for some reason, audio books just don't appeal to you, then buy this set of CDs and pay somebody to transcribe the lectures so you can read them. Seriously! This is hands down the best introduction you can find to the deeper aspects of yoga philosophy, suitable both for the neophyte and the seasoned practitioner. Full of countless gems of insight, it bears repeated listening and will be a source of inspiration for years.
