I have listened to them many many times over and have read Joan Halifax's book, Being With Dying...this set will embark you on a Practice of LIFE. The meditations are appropriate for everyone, even if you do not work with the dying. Ms Halifax guides us to open our selves to one of the greatest experiences we all will encounter. By practicing "death" we can fully live and be open to what we truly are-- I am blown away whenever I listen to it....

I don't work in palliative care, and it doesn't matter, I was deeply curious, I have witnessed the dying process of a loved one and it is a crucial part of the spiritual journey and the human condition.
