That's silly for someone to claim it was too "beginner." I am a monk, and I found this Mind-Body Toolkit to be very, and I mean VERY effective, with no limit to it, especially when you get to the CD #2, where the music...put it this way. I was tired once, I fell asleep as the CDs were addressing me. I must tell you I had the most sacred dream I have EVER had, in 5 decades of living.

You can't go wrong with anything Dr. Weil puts out. I purchased this item for a friend and I'm certian they will like it.

This kit has been enormously useful to my effort to relax my body and mind. Read the booklet if you have time, but if not just play the first CD in a quiet place. The first 7 cuts are breathwork, 8-10 are an intro to meditation with John Cabot Zinn. Voice, tone & content are all excellent. Lately I've progressed to CD 2 and while this may be because I've been working on progressive relaxation for some time on my own, the guided imagery followed by relaxing sounds/music are all great. I listen in the quiet of my home before anyone's awake or when I can't sleep in the night, and either feel great afterwards or fall asleep listening, depending on the occasion & goal. Highly recommended and I've given it to several family members & friends.

This compilation can be useful for someone new to breathwork and meditation. As a yoga teacher, I found the principles too basic for me personally. I would recommend this to those who are new to these practices.
