Found this very helpful - great clear explanation from Andrew about how mindfulness works. Exercises are great and suitable for more 'practically-minded' people.

I have read and listened to everything by Jon Kabat-Zinn and only scratched the surface with Dr. Andrew Weil. This is by far the best place to start that I have found yet. I liked "Mindfulness for Beginners", by JKZ and it was usually where I would point people who have seen the changes in me and wanted to understand Mindfulness, but the crisp, clear distillation of what I characterize as "what is really going on here" by Andrew Weil, is just phenomenal. What a great teacher, I could listen to him talk for hours! The pacing of JKZ on this recording is much better than some of his other audio productions. I have recommended this be incorporated into my local college Massage Therapy certification courses.
