Our Trade Sales and Marketing team connects Sounds True books, audios, and music to a vibrant community of readers and listeners. We’re looking for someone with a love of books, a genuine interest in our content, and expertise in innovative marketing.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate with Trade Sales and Marketing team to create leading-edge marketing campaigns for book/audio/music products
  • Cultivate close working relationships with authors and artists to support their marketing needs from acquisition through publication and beyond
  • Plan, develop, execute, and evaluate product marketing campaigns in both traditional and emerging channels
  • Deliver know-how in digital marketing trends and best practices
  • Continually research core markets and industry developments to establish clear, unique branding vision for each product

E-Learning Curriculum Producer

Sounds True, a multimedia publisher specializing in spirituality and holistic living, seeks an experienced, full-time curriculum producer and project manager to join our creative division in Louisville, Colorado.

Job Responsibilities

  • Producing and delivering online, video, and instructor-led training for 8–10 online course products per year from concept development through content creation
  • Working with cross-functional teams to develop specifications for each course, including course content and marketing/bonus materials
  • Providing leadership and hands-on production for each course in various formats including video, audio, and written content, as well as all related marketing materials
  • Brainstorming, creating, and composing new online course offerings for content and marketability
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the psychology, relationships, health, healing, and self-help online marketplace and trends
  • Researching and evaluating industry trends, competitive titles, and professional needs in the psychology, relationships, health, healing, and self-help fields

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has a background in adult learning, online course development, or instructional design
  • Has an advanced understanding of video and audio production for use in eLearning, and experience working in FinalCut and/or Premiere
  • Has a passion for training, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, a focus on customer satisfaction, and strong project management skills
  • Has experience in strategic planning, strategic thinking, and guiding development of new projects that align with organizational objectives
  • Has the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects to completion in a fast-paced environment and within deadlines and budgets

  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Has proven experience with curriculum design principles and practices, as well as interactive training

Audio Production Coordinator

Customer Service Representative

Receiving Clerk

Sounds True, a multimedia publisher specializing in spirituality and holistic living, seeks a Receiving Clerk to manage receiving of our products and inventory management in the warehouse. This person will also support the shipping and returns departments, and will be responsible for all receiving and warehouse inventory management activities. This position involves lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and can involve bending, standing, and walking.

Schedule: 7:30am–4pm M–F

Job Duties

Receiving responsibilities:

  • Process receipt of goods and manage transactions in the inventory software
  • Manage inventory of our onsite and offsite warehouses
  • Analyze and manage weekly inventory transfers between warehouses
  • Inactivate products and clear warehouse space for new products
  • Set up warehouse bin locations and reposition bestselling products closest to shipping
  • Review and rotate inventory quarterly based on sales; consolidate to save space
  • Forklift operations and maintenance
  • Daily cycle counting of inventory

Other responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance with processing product returns
  • Provide shipping support
  • Restock the pick lines in shipping area
  • Display assembly and management of inventory for promotions
  • General safety and cleanliness of work areas
  • Assist the Operations Management team with warehouse process improvements
  • Assist with annual inventory audit
  • Assist with additional duties as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Previous warehouse receiving experience of 1 or more years
  • Forklift experience required
  • Upbeat, flexible, and positive personality; a team player
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, or dividing
  • Previous experience with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to prioritize with good time management skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure, multitask, and have a sense of urgency
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently with limited direction (once trained in each area)
  • Flexible when new projects arise or process improvement changes are being implemented in the warehouse
