Manager/Director of Eckhart Tolle TV
(an online subscription business)

The Director of Eckhart Tolle TV will be responsible for all aspects of the business including online marketing, website design, analytics, and reporting. Experience managing and marketing subscription-based services is preferred. The role requires small-company hands-on execution of tactical operations and implementation of the long-term strategic plan. Knowledge of and connection to Eckhart Tolle’s work is a pre-requisite.

This position is located at Sounds True’s offices in Louisville, CO and will report Sounds True’s VP of Ecommerce.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintain P&L responsibility for Eckhart Tolle’s online business units (including eckharttolletv.com, eckharttolle.com, and a new site being created for Kim Eng)
  • Develop and implement annual marketing plans for customer prospecting and retention
  • Develop programs to support customer acquisition, customer retention and development, digital advertising, email marketing, SEO, social media, and mobile marketing
  • Establish A/B testing plan and reporting dashboards
  • Drive site content to maximize marketing/retention
  • Oversee copy/graphic design, ideally with capability to write marketing copy
  • Develop, maintain, and present marketing reports to executive team on regular basis. Establish KPI’s (e.g., traffic, conversion rate) across all channels, identifying trends and recommending approaches to improve
  • Manage a diverse team of marketing, creative, and IT development professionals (many of whom work remote/virtual)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • 5 or more years of marketing experience, preferably in subscription and/or ecommerce
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to write compelling marketing copy (preferred)
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset

Event Production and Marketing Coordinator:

Sounds True, a spiritually based, multimedia publishing company, seeks an event production and marketing coordinator to join our events division. As event production coordinator, this person will be a critical member of a small team reporting to the events director. This position will be responsible for overseeing the production process for all event coordination and related marketing initiatives, as well as cross-departmental coordination.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the execution of event marketing plans by being responsible for tracking the on-time delivery of assets internally and externally for all marketing initiatives including emails, online marketing, social media, advertising, local outreach, and sponsorship coordination
  • Creating and tracking detailed production and marketing schedules for every event
  • Assisting with event planning and coordination as assigned
  • Attending weekly marketing and event meetings
  • Database entry
  • Routing marketing jobs for approval
  • Meeting coordination
  • External communication with presenters, vendors, suppliers, sponsors, and marketing/PR outlets
  • Inter-departmental communication and coordination
  • Attending and taking on a variety of responsibilities at all live events (6+ per year) locally and in cities around the country, including events on evenings and weekends
  • Administrative and project management duties as assigned
  • During live events and in preparation for events, the event production coordinator may be asked to serve a variety of additional functions including, but not limited to, running errands, operating credit card machines, selling products, guest relations, hospitality and food service, presenter and VIP handling, and carrying and setting up equipment.

This position will involve heavy project coordination and tracking responsibilities. Please do not apply if you are not highly process driven, detail oriented, and extremely organized.

Candidate must have 2+ years experience in project coordination/traffic management and possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Suite. Experience in Filemaker Pro is a plus. Candidate must be willing and able to travel out of state for 2-3 days at a time, 5+ times per year during weekdays and/or weekends. Software Quality Assurance Lead

Sounds True, a multimedia publisher in Louisville, CO specializing in spirituality and holistic living, seeks an experienced Software Quality Assurance Lead. Applicant must have strong communication and organizational skills, a pleasant and helpful personality, the ability to research and learn new technologies, and be a self-starter. Interest in our products a plus. The SQA Lead will provide testing leadership and act as the primary tester for Sounds True digital and Ecommerce initiatives.

Description

  • Lead quality assurance testing for ecommerce, course, and event applications and related marketing communications
  • Write and execute test plans, both manual and automated
  • Expand our end-to-end automated test coverage and build tools to help us test more efficiently
  • Interact with customer support and other teams to triage defects and reproduce reported issues
  • Work with web development, web operations, customer service, product owners, and other teams to identify possible issues

Must-Haves

  • Committed to quality and to keeping a positive, collaborative attitude and approach to testing
  • At least 2 years of experience with ecommerce application QA
  • Excellent interdepartmental communication skills
  • Experience developing test plans/test cases and performing manual/automated testing for small-to-medium projects and supporting medium-to-large projects with minimal direction/supervision
  • Knowledge of testing cycles and QA principles
  • Cross browser, device, and platform testing experience
  • Experience troubleshooting issues that arise during development or after release
  • Experience in working with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements
  • Triaging defects reported by customer service and other internal teams
  • Experience monitoring multiple applications using New Relic and Amazon Web Services
  • Ability to communicate defects to stakeholders and developers
