Vedic mantras to lead you on an inner journey through blissful meditative states.
Full Description

Alongside the familiar yoga practice of movement and meditation is the ancient yoga of music and chant, whose goal is to open your heart, awaken your mind, and arouse your spirit.

“His music is delightful—a spiritually uplifting experience.”
—Caroline Myss, bestselling author of Sacred Contracts

“His fusion of the sounds of India with the energy and technology of contemporary Western music produces a sound unequaled since George Harrison collaborated with Ravi Shankar in the late 1960s.’’
—Arlo Guthrie

Three thousand years ago in the temples of India, yogis chanted sacred Vedic mantras as a practice of meditation, inspiration, and spiritual awakening. Russill Paul is a modern master of this practice, having left his career in film music to immerse himself in monastery life and be initiated into this powerful art.

Russill’s evocative chanting is supported by an ensemble of traditional Indian and contemporary instrumentation. Listen quietly to go on an inward journey through meditative states, or chant along and be bathed in these healing sonic energies.

Russill presents his work on musical mysticism at retreats and learning centers worldwide. He has shared the stage with many musical luminaries, and has performed for His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

About Russill Paul

A native of Chennai, South India, Russill Paul began playing stringed instruments from the age of four. In his teens, he was already playing music professionally. Although he was born and brought up in a Christian family, from childhood he developed a keen interest in Indian spirituality. In 1984, Russill underwent a powerful spiritual transition due to his meeting Dom Bede Griffiths, the pioneering Benedictine monk and revered sage who directed Shantivanam, a Christian monastery that expressed itself through the spiritual and yogic culture of India.
