Treasured Folk Tales from Hasidism's Most Legendary Storyteller

Rebbe Nachman, the great-grandson of the Baal Shem Tov (founder of Hasidism), worked ceaselessly to bring the most profound spiritual truths into the life of every person. A brilliant teacher who wrestled with worldly troubles and setbacks, he succeeded at last in creating “something that will endure forever”—his stories.

Stories of Rebbe Nachman presents these crowning jewels of his life's work—teaching fables that vividly communicate how to live with the presence of God in daily life. Told by Rabbi David Zeller, director of Israel's Yakar Center for Torah and Creativity, Stories of Rebbe Nachman presents these tales as they were first heard—by word of mouth—accompanied by Rebbe Nachman's original niggunim (Hasidic folk melodies). An uplifting session from the man called “the first storyteller of Judaism.”

Tales include: “The Lost Princess,” “The Clever One and the Simpleton,” “The Rabbi and His Son,” “The Fixer,” and more.
