Pema Chödrön: Regret: A Powerful Seed of Compassion

Beloved American-born Buddhist teacher Pema Chödrön has been spreading the word of the dharma for more than 40 years. When her granddaughter graduated from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, Pema agreed to give the commencement address—which then formed the backbone of the book and audio program Fail, Fail Again, Fail Better. Sounds True founder Tami Simon had the opportunity to interview Ani Pema as a follow-up to the address. In this spirited excerpt from that interview, Pema and Tami discuss the concept of regret, and how personal failures can be powerful impetuses for growth and change.
