In the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, our body is a teacher and guide. Learn body-based awareness practices drawn from Tibetan yoga and introduced to the West by pioneering meditation teacher Reginald A. Ray. These practices enable us to sit in meditation in a way that is simultaneously deeply relaxed and alert. The practices include "The Ten Points," meditation that enables us to drop all tension and unravel our sense of separateness; "Earth Breathing," a powerful exercise for removing any barrier that exists between our energy and the energy of the earth; and "Abdominal Breathing for Opening the Central Channel of the Body," a practice that allows us to expel stale energy and open to boundless awareness.
