José Argüelles: 2012 and Natural Time
Tami Simon speaks with José Argüelles, a well-known author for his role in organizing the harmonic convergence event in 1987 and for his book The Mayan Factor, published the same year. He is the founder of the Planet Art Network, the Foundation for the Law of Time, and is a contributor to the recently published Sounds True anthology The Mystery of 2012. Jose speaks about the significance of the year 2012 in relation to the Mayan Calendar, natural-or lunar-based time and how he believes we have the opportunity now to enter a new era of advanced mental development in which telepathy will become our primary method of communication. José,
Exceptional interview! Thank you.
Time is art. Love that thought! Profound contemplation indeed.
Read The Mystery of 2012 from cover to cover and treasured the insights on every page. I highly recommend to readers and “seekers”.
I thoroughly enjoyed this interview.

Wow how interesting. As I was listening a couple of things came up for me. Firstly that we humans have already been through a few shifts in my life time – in currency we have moved from pents to dollars and cents in Australia and in Europe they have moved from various currencies to the EURO. In measurement in Australia we moved from imperial (inches, feet, pounds etc) to metric. If we can change our thinking around how we count money and how we measure thing surely we can change our mind around time?
My other though was about speed of communication through internet and SMS and skype etc that maybe that kind of global communication is preparing us for not only global telepathy but cosmic/unversal communication with other beings.
maybe instead of a euro there will be a worldo or a universo instead.
Hmmm a lot to think about.
