WOW!! What a delightful way to start a Saturday morning listening to David Whyte. I have read his latest book The Three Marriages and learned more about the core self and identity. What a wonderful way to explain and define being present to oneself and the world around us. Thank you for the interview. And Tami, you always ask such great questions that keep us understanding what is being said. Thank you again.

David would have us ask what is it that we have energy for? He would ask us to have the faith to open the door to the unknown land that will be our new home. We will need to be here in a vulnerability that is upheld by the invisible.
And there is a part of us that will never fit into this World and was not intended to. Eventually we will lay down our burden and know there is no path to take us all the way. His voice is like the vapor of the mountain rain in our clothes, drying in the afternoon sun. Thank you.

Many years ago, the first spoken poem of David’s I heard was “Faith” and at that moment I was transported into a depth of core not previously known, an edge, if you will … and every time I hear or read his work, I return. Namaste, David and Tami
