Wow. One of the most powerful interviews I’ve listened to thus far on Weekly Wisdom. Is it possible to include links with these? I would LOVE to share this via email and facebook.

Dr. Mehl-Madrona is well aware of the limitations of modern medicine. He believes we can learn much from the wisdom of Native Americans including their traditions of relationship, story, and ceremony. He believes that he can call upon Sprit beings who can help heal his patients if they are able. This sound like a beautiful story to me.
He tells us that if we are healthy we should be very grateful. If we are sick our best chances for healing come from realizing that we are very small. We can call upon help from others and the Spirit beings. In the end all we can do is trust the forces of the Universe. The best prayer is that the highest good be done.
Thank you Doctor. I believe that your patients are blessed having you as their healer.

I can’t remember when anything has touched my heart so deeply as sitting here this morning, looking at a flower arrangement (Ikebana) I just put together, breathing and listening to this interview. Or anything that has been more timely in this place in my spiritual/healing journey. THANK YOU both!
I will sit longer, right now at this moment, to absorb more deeply what I have just experienced on so many levels.

Wonderful way to learn to look at the pain in your life and how to be with it all. I loved the analogy of gardening your spiritual life..thank you.

One of the most beautiful, deeply touching, honest and wise interviews, I have ever been listening to, since listening to Ondrea and Stephen Levine, missing the right words to express how thankfully I am for this interview, thank you Tami and Lewis!

This is an incredible podcast!
When he spoke of the love of Mother Earth and “gravity”. And this next: ” It’s what she uses to pull us to her bosom, so we always know her love…” Something shifted inside me. My whole view of gravity has changed. Sometimes I feel “heavy” inside. Now I can completely re-frame that and look at it in a new way. A more tender and healing way.
Namaste…
