Leigh Fortson: A new way to talk about, think about, and treat cancer
Tami Simon speaks with Leigh Fortson about her book Embrace, Release, Heal, an empowering guide to talking about, thinking about, and treating cancer. Leigh spent decades practicing healthy
lifestyle habits, and was shocked to find out, in 2006, that she had cancer. Today she has a clean bill of health and lives in Colorado with her family. In this interview, Leigh speaks about “the morphic field” of cancer, the importance of accepting responsibility after a cancer diagnosis, and her view of “fighting cancer” in order to thrive. This interview is truly amazing. It feels like I’m in a cancer dream and I want to get out. No explaining, no solutions; just pure living.

Thank you Tami and Leigh for this wonderful interview which I reread several times in order to share all this information with my friends and my patients in Argentina. One of the most impressive podcasts until now, many people will benefit from all this information. Very very grateful, Bàrbara

My husband has been diagnosed with Lymphoma and after he had the tumour removed a few months ago he has been treating his “cancer” himself with diet, therapy, essiac tea and positivity….. so far so good! This interview has been such a confirmation for our attitude to taking personal responsibility and understanding outside the conventional ´system´. Thank you so very much.

At first when I saw this interview, I totally avoided it because, as noted in the interview, cancer is so scary. But today, I was brave and listened and it is so a wonderful and uplifting interview. In fact, it is one of the best and most informative in the series. What stood out for me is strong self-love and feeling gratitude for oneself and all things. I will definitely put this into my practice. Leigh, your troubles were not for naught, as I and others have been so blessed by your journey. Thanks for sharing. And, Tami, thanks again for being such a great interviewer.
