Our audio producers work for weeks and even months with our teachers, recording and crafting our learning programs. From their hundreds of hours in the studio and editing bays, here are favorite moments chosen by our producers.

Noah Levine: An Inner Revolution Against the Causes of Suffering

In the words of Sounds True producer Mitchell Clute, “For me, Noah [Levine]’s teachings are a really engaging mixture of the edgy and traditional. That makes sense, given his background. On one hand, he came to meditation practice after bottoming out in his late teens following years of drug use and run-ins with the law. On the other, he’s the son of noted Buddhist teacher Stephen Levine and a longtime student of Jack Kornfield. Not surprising, then, that he’s drawn to the image of Buddha as revolutionary.” In this excerpt from the audio program Kind Awareness, Noah speaks on how following the Buddhist dharma can be a form of rebellion against society’s worst ingrained tendencies—moving us toward a path of tolerance and equanimity.
