Trained on the violin and classical guitar from a young age, music has always had a particular influence on Ashik’s life. Even while studying philosophy at the University of Oxford, Ashik founded the acoustic trio Mythica whose blend of folk, blues, and poetry made a mark in the English music scene and was featured by the BBC.
