They are known for their powerful blend of modern and ancient soundscapes that touches the heart and brings listeners to connected state. “Listening to Jaya Lakshmi and Ananda is like being serenaded by a choir of angels. They sweep you up and lift you to a blissful state, infuse you with sweetness, and leave you with a sense of the sacred within all life. Sublime.” —Kia Miller, founder of Radiant Body Yoga Their story is one of embracing each other’s spiritual paths. Jaya Lakshmi has her roots with the Gaudiya Vaishnava (Radha and Krishna devotional path) and Ananda with Kundalini Yoga tradition as taught by Yogi Bhajan. They saw it as a divine gift and embraced each other’s past and entered into what would become their own devotional fusion. They share chants and yoga practices from both traditions along with their other sources of devotional inspiration.
