This book is a game-changer. Not only does Loch Kelly describe our natural state as "awake awareness" he describes how to access this state easily and directly. No requirements for hours of daily meditation for years in order to achieve a transcendent state only a few can reach. Rather, Loch gives many simple exercises that offer "small glimpses" directly into our natural state. These "small glimpses" can be done anytime anywhere; so the simple practice of "small glimpses" many times allows me to experience myself as who I really am, not the "mini-me" in my head. And these practices are not only for myself to experience my own awake awareness; it is meant to flow through my heart to others as "open-hearted awareness." I recommend this book highly. I also recommend experiencing a retreat with Loch in person; he is the "real deal", he models what he teaches.
