Acclaimed worldwide for their revolutionary approaches to family and individual healing, Dr. Gabor Maté and Dr. Richard C. Schwartz offer unique perspectives and meaningful insights to their students, patients, and peers. 

Gabor Maté, MD, is an author, speaker, and physician who specializes in addiction, stress, and childhood development. His many books include In the Realm of Hungry Ghosts and When the Body Says No. His signature psychotherapeutic approach, Compassionate Inquiry, reveals what lies beneath the appearance we present to the world.

Richard C. Schwartz, PhD, coauthored the most widely used family therapy text in the United States, Family Therapy: Concepts and Methods, and is the creator of the Internal Family Systems model, which he developed in response to clients’ descriptions of various “parts” within themselves.
