Review for Brainspotting

had a friend suggest this recording as a "great new" form of healing, so I got it and it's not new at all there are many many recordings and musicians/composers who have been doing biaural beat (EMDR) for along time. why is this marketed as "new" or belonging to this author? It's Not the best I've heard.

Review for Brainspotting

This CD is not for casual listening. There's no cohesion between the pieces, except for the underlying binaural effect. One minute you're listening to a seascape, the next minute jazz. And the binaural thing is not relaxing at all. I purchased this as a download. Maybe there are "instructions" in the jewel case of the disc copy. Even so, to me it does not live up to the description, and is not listenable.

From my personal experience...highly recommend to combine this with Laurell Parnel's Tapping In and Jay Earley's Self-Therapy.

Review for Brainspotting

This is a powerful healing tool that if used properly can permanently resolve traumatic memories. this should not be used by those not properly trained in treating trauma as it is a form of exposure therapy. That said for therapist interested in an introduction to Brainspotting this is an excellent offering at an unbeatable price.
