Jorge Alfano is a world music multi-instrumentalist who has played for the Dalai Lama, and with artists such as Richie Havens, Reuben Blades, and Astor Piazzolla.

About Jorge Alfano

A sought after musician, producer, and sound healer, Jorge has played with artists such as Astor Piazzolla, Mercedes Sosa, Richie Havens, Glen Velez, Paul Horn, Steven Halpern, and many others. An ordained metaphysical minister and student of numerous spiritual traditions, Jorge’s music is imbued with heart, vision, and sensitivity. Recently Jorge had the privilege to perform for His Holiness the Dalai Lama of Tibet. Jorge's career started at the age of 13 when a professional singer asked him to join her and play the bass on her tour. Jorge has been a professional musician ever since. While he began as an accomplished bass player, he now plays many different instruments from around the world. He specializes in flutes and string instruments.
