Examine your dependence on external authorities and unearth the wisdom you already hold
Full Description

In this talk, Reggie explains how theistic structures of institutional authority inhibit the healthy development of the unique individual. Our dependency on external sources of power needs to be examined so that we can learn to open to the unique wisdom that is within us.

Reggie says that another danger that impairs our ability to trust our inborn wisdom are the many ideas and personal stories we have come up with about who we think we are. By questioning our conceptual narratives and attachment to our traumas and dramas, we can begin to allow the truth of our lives to emerge with power and vibrancy.

This talk was given during a retreat intensive in Crestone, Colorado, that was part of the five-month Meditating with the Body© program he taught in 2009.
