Tara is always a delight. No matter how knowledgable I may feel, I learn more from her.

The material overall was great. I think she's a wonderful teacher, and I've followed her work and podcasts for many, many years and will continue to do so. That said, I don't think there was a whole lot new here that I hadn't read in her wonderful articles or heard on her moving podcasts. A lot of the stories, jokes, and tips were things I had already been exposed to in previous works. Before I signed up for the course, I called Sounds True to ask about the potential for repetition, and they said they didn't know. Still, I signed up. I'm glad I did because she is an amazing teacher, but it wasn't what I had hoped or anticipated. I also had gotten the impression that there would be written materials and an interactive forum experience, which make this a true "course." Neither of those happened, which was disappointing. As it was, I felt like I was just listening to podcasts again. And don't get me wrong... I TREASURE her podcasts... TREASURE!... but that's different than a highly interactive course. She did answer one of my questions, and that was awesome, and I'm so thankful for that. Still, I would hope that any future iterations of this program take on a true "course" format (specific assignments, forum prompts, mediated discussions, written materials, etc), instead of live videos with a space for a forum. Again, this has nothing to do with Tara or the teachings... just the format and the way the course was described in the marketing materials.

Very bad recording, very bad sound, poor video. Quality similar to a very bad Skype conversation. It shouldn't be sold this way. I would have preferred to wait for a good recording of Tara in your studio and pay the appropriate price.
