Know Thyself

A Retreat in Greece with Eckhart Tolle and Kim Eng

September 22–27, 2018 + Costa Navarino, Greece

Eckhart Tolle

Kim Eng

Know Thyself is the ancient Greek aphorism inscribed at the Temple of Apollo at Delphi. Eckhart Tolle has often cited this well-known maxim as a perennial pointer to the formless dimension within. With Know Thyself, Eckhart Tolle and Kim Eng invite you to a five-day retreat in Greece, at the singularly beautiful Westin Resort Costa Navarino.

Eckhart has a personal fondness for the early "flowers" of human consciousness, particularly the philosophers and visionaries of the Mediterranean world. In this retreat, in addition to his customary teachings on living a life of Presence, Eckhart will draw on teachings from Socrates, Plutarch, and other philosophers outside of the Greek tradition, sharing insights and themes common to his work and relevant to this day.

A Retreat to Explore the Depths of Who You Really Are

"There are two levels to knowing yourself," explains Eckhart. "The first level involves self-observation and recognizing your own egoic patterns. But at a deeper level, to know yourself is to be yourself."

Bringing us together in one of the birthplaces of human inquiry and inner investigation, Eckhart and Kim will lead us in a journey of self-illumination and discovery intended to help us realize and express who and what we are at the deepest level.

Join Eckhart and Kim Eng to experience six days of in-depth teaching sessions, practical Q&A, community immersion, stillness in nature, and much more—all amidst the pristine beauty of Greece's west coast.

“To know yourself at a deeper level is
                        to know yourself as Presence.”

  • $374 Euros per night (approximately $418 USD) for a double room

We strongly encourage you to book your rooms as soon as possible. The rooms at The Westin in our room block will sell out. Registering for the retreat does not guarantee that a room will be held for you. We have reserved a large block of rooms in order to accommodate retreat attendees, but the rooms will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once the rooms in our special retreat block sell out, your only option will be to book a standard room through The Westin Resort Costa Navarino website at the available room rate and will only include breakfast.

For those who would like to find a roommate, please visit the Meetup forum.

Lodging costs are paid separately to The Westin and are not included in your  retreat tuition. Our special group lodging rate will only be available until July 22, 2018 pending the availability of rooms and will require a two-night deposit. After that date, rooms can be booked at the current hotel rates based on availability. Please be sure to review the room cancellation penalties at the time of booking.

Your room lodging rate includes three daily meals for retreat participants beginning on Saturday evening, September 22, and ending with lunch on Thursday, September 27.

Breakfast and lunch will be offered as a private buffet for retreat participants. For dinner, you will have the option to join other participants at the buffet or use a meal credit at one of the many wonderful restaurants The Westin has to offer.
