Customer Support Representative

Sounds True, a multimedia publisher specializing in spirituality and holistic living, has a full-time, temporary (through Spring 2019) opening for an energetic and responsible individual to join our Customer Service team in our Louisville, CO office. There is the possibility that this position would lead to additional long-term opportunities. Primary responsibilities include assisting our customers by phone, email, and chat. Customer assistance includes but is not limited to supporting downloadable products and online course programs, reconciling account discrepancies, and offering product suggestions.

The Ideal Candidate has:

Computer Support Technician

We are seeking an energetic and motivated full-time Computer Support Technician to add to our internal technology support team in Louisville, Colorado. This is an entry-level desktop support role, primarily focused on diagnosing and fixing computational issues.

Essential Tasks

This role requires a customer-first mentality, and we are looking for a driven individual to thrive at assisting, collaborating with, and educating employees at Sounds True. The Computer Support Technician is responsible for handling support requests via calls, email, and walk-ins, as well as other duties delegated by the IT manager

  • Desktop support: troubleshooting a variety of situations, including supporting specialist software
  • Maintaining the business’s network and ensuring computer systems are up and running flawlessly.
  • Asset management: tagging and tracking equipment
  • Configuring new desktop installations for employees against budget
  • Adding and removing users in various software systems
  • Configuring email accounts
  • Installing network printers on a client OS
  • Maintaining inventory and a clean working space
  • Assisting with hitting budget goals and cost-effectiveness in spending
  • Supporting with additional duties as needed

Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service and communication in a technical support role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and prioritization skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to step in where most needed
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting MS Office Suite, Google Apps Suite, and both Windows and macOS
  • Familiarity with OS imaging tools such as MDT
  • Familiarity with Microsoft enterprise domain structure
  • Working knowledge of network infrastructure, including WiFi
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time and to lift 50 lbs.

Ideal Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in macOS management, JAMF preferred
  • Experience managing an image process, MDT/SCCM preferred
  • Virtual Server infrastructure experience
  • Experience with AD/DNS/DHCP and SQL
  • Scripting experience, PowerShell preferred
  • Relevant certifications or education

Sales and Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking a Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our team. Our Trade Sales and Marketing team connects Sounds True books and audios to a vibrant community of readers and listeners via our trade partners. Our sales and marketing coordinator balances B2B marketing savvy with an ability to meet tight deadlines and coordinate multiple projects at once.

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to support successful sell-in of our products to trade partners (including Amazon, B & N, wholesalers, and independent bookstores)
  • Coordinating production of effective sales assets, including trade ads, product flyers, sales emails, and special markets catalog
  • Managing sales reporting and product data delivery for select channels
  • Planning and organizing national and regional trade shows
  • Adding and removing users in various software systems
  • Supporting marketing team with market research, campaign analysis, and other projects
  • Supporting marketing director with administrative tasks

The Ideal Candidate

  • Brings a minimum of three years’ experience in marketing, preferably in publishing or related content-rich field
  • Delivers results accurately, meets deadlines consistently, and demonstrates creativity
  • Shows curiosity—willing to try new approaches and able to learn new skills quickly
  • Is fluent in Excel and comfortable working in various databases/systems
  • Loves reading, books, authors, bookstores, libraries and all things bookish
  • Has a genuine connection with our content and the mission of Sounds True
  • Balances an ability to work independently with a passion for collaboration
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
