Director of Sounds True's Professional (Psychotherapy/Therapist) Division

Sounds True, a leading multimedia publishing company in the spirituality space, is seeking a Director of our Professional Division to help us bring leading-edge psychotherapy training to a growing worldwide audience. This is a part-time, contract position with flexible hours, requiring approximately 8–10 hours per week (on average).

We are looking for someone who both has clinical experience as a practicing psychotherapist and a passion for introducing people to leading-edge online training opportunities. You must be a trained psychotherapist, an excellent writer and communicator, and be comfortable speaking and conducting interviews in front of a camera. The ideal candidate lives in the Boulder/Denver area and has interest and experience in online marketing.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Being the face and voice of Sounds True's Professional Division
  • Writing a weekly email to our growing database of professionals sharing with them your enthusiasm about new developments in the field and information about Sounds True's online training programs
  • As needed, moderating private Facebook discussion groups related to online programs
  • Creating 1–2 short video communications each month introducing people to new authors and online programs
  • As needed, hosting professional training webinars
  • Working with our new product development team to select new authors to feature in our online training summits and courses
  • Interacting with leading authors and trainers in the field to help them shape their content for online delivery through Sounds True
  • Staying abreast of new trends, modalities, and practices in the psychotherapy field to help develop ideas for online training offerings
  • Actively researching and developing relationships with leading psychotherapists and other experts in the space

Email Project Coordinator

Sounds True, a multimedia publishing company specializing in spirituality and holistic living, is looking for an Email Project Coordinator to join our Digital Marketing team. This is a new and exciting job opportunity for someone interested in a long-term career opportunity.

The Email Project Coordinator is responsible for the managing the creation and execution of all Sounds True email campaigns.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Team player—able to work across all departments (design, copy, development, and online course teams)

  • Passionate about email marketing and providing exceptional customer experiences

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Manage all Sounds True email campaigns and projects from inception through deployment, ensuring stringent quality control processes are followed for all deliverables
  • Own day-to-day execution of email campaigns—including managing/owning the email marketing calendar (Smartsheet), project-managing the email development process (JIRA), and email deployment.
  • Schedule emails based on availability, business need, and customer experience
  • Operational tasks: Set up email lists and segments, as well as marketing automation workflows and various triggered emails in our ESP
  • Administrative tasks: gather assets for events, partner, and author emails; send email content to proofing for approval
  • Provide post-send KPI reports to cross -functional partners

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • At least 1 year of experience in email marketing and/or eCommerce
  • Experience working with large scale email service providers (we use Bronto)
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of email best practices and CAN-SPAM laws
  • Strong project and time-management skills
  • Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic to intermediate HTML or CSS is a plus

Customer Service Representative

Primary responsibilities include assisting our customers by phone, email, and chat. Customer assistance includes, but is not limited to support with downloadable products, online course programs, reconcile account discrepancies, and offer product suggestions.

Audio Engineer

The Ideal Candidate:

Act as the Recording Engineer for a variety of spoken-word recording sessions to include:

  • Audio Learning Programs
  • Online Courses and Events
  • Podcasts
  • Video Shoots
  • Spoken-word audio editing
  • Mastering to multiple formats, including compact disc, downloadable products, streaming media and audio for video
  • Coordination and scheduling of ongoing product offerings such as podcasts and webcasts
  • Quality-assurance checks of multimedia products
  • Live sound reinforcement for live events

Qualifications

  • A formal education or commensurate experience in audio technique and application

    Customer Service Specialist (Part Time)

    Sounds True, a leading multimedia publishing company in the spirituality space, seeks a part-time Customer Service Specialist to provide exceptional customer support for our Eckhart Tolle Now customer base. This part-time position would be Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–1:00 pm at our offices in Louisville, CO.

    Essential Duties:

    • Customer service: phone and email support
    • Primary contact for Eckhart Tolle Now customers
    • Assist with additional customer service projects as needed for our business and direct divisions

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Excellent customer service (phone and email support) experience highly desired
    • Possess a good knowledge about Eckhart Tolle and Kim Eng products
    • Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot technical issues; experience with downloading music or books
    • Have an upbeat, patient, and positive personality with strong interpersonal skills
    • Reliable, proactive, confident, and able to work independently as well as with a team
    • Ability to prioritize with good time-management skills
    • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as strong attention to detail
    • Excellent, concise written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word desired
