Director of Sounds True's Professional (Psychotherapy/Therapist) Division

Sounds True, a leading multimedia publishing company in the spirituality space, is seeking a Director of our Professional Division to help us bring leading-edge psychotherapy training to a growing worldwide audience. This is a part-time, contract position with flexible hours, requiring approximately 8–10 hours per week (on average).

We are looking for someone who both has clinical experience as a practicing psychotherapist and a passion for introducing people to leading-edge online training opportunities. You must be a trained psychotherapist, an excellent writer and communicator, and be comfortable speaking and conducting interviews in front of a camera. The ideal candidate lives in the Boulder/Denver area and has interest and experience in online marketing.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Being the face and voice of Sounds True's Professional Division
  • Writing a weekly email to our growing database of professionals sharing with them your enthusiasm about new developments in the field and information about Sounds True's online training programs
  • As needed, moderating private Facebook discussion groups related to online programs
  • Creating 1–2 short video communications each month introducing people to new authors and online programs
  • As needed, hosting professional training webinars
  • Working with our new product development team to select new authors to feature in our online training summits and courses
  • Interacting with leading authors and trainers in the field to help them shape their content for online delivery through Sounds True
  • Staying abreast of new trends, modalities, and practices in the psychotherapy field to help develop ideas for online training offerings
  • Actively researching and developing relationships with leading psychotherapists and other experts in the space

Sales/Marketing Operations Assistant

Sounds True, a publisher specializing in spirituality and holistic living, is seeking a smart, driven, energetic, and enthusiastic Executive Assistant to support our Sales and Marketing division. The right candidate has excellent written and verbal communication skills, is naturally organized and detail-oriented, is a go-getter who identifies needs and acts without prompting, is mature and professional, and works well under pressure. This person will be the key support person for the VP of Sales and Marketing as well as other members of the department Sales and Marketing team.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Calendar and email management/scheduling
  • Departmental reporting (requires proficiency in Excel)
  • Sales material prep, mailings, and data management for major accounts
  • Coordination of marketing efforts
  • General administrative support for Sales and Marketing team
  • Travel arrangements and expense reports
  • Acting as liaison between departments
  • Database management

Rquirements:

  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent command of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs

Sounds True, a leading multimedia publishing company in the spirituality space, has a full-time opening for an energetic and responsible individual to join our Customer Service team. Primary responsibilities include assisting our customers by phone, email, and chat. Customer assistance includes, but is not limited to support with downloadable products, online course programs, reconcile account discrepancies, and offer product suggestions.

The Ideal Candidate:

Senior Web Designer

Sounds True, a growing multimedia publishing company specializing in spirituality and holistic living, is looking for a Senior Web Designer to add to our design team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, prototype and deliver digital assets that drive engagement and appropriate user action on the Sounds True website, landing pages, and course platform
  • Collaborate with copywriters, developers, and other team members to develop creative concepts and bring projects to completion
  • Work closely with the design director and the direct marketing team to design assets that meet branding guidelines and business needs
  • Participate in presentations to senior creatives and product owners
  • Handle and prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Interpret creative direction and accept constructive design feedback
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and that each meets the expectations
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Exhibit a clear understanding of business needs, best practices, and priorities, and align them to achieve user experience goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience with web and/or interactive design in a B2B or B2C internet company
  • Highly skilled in responsive UI/UX design principles and best practices
  • Understanding of all stages of web development, including UX and design processes for websites and mobile applications
  • Portfolio demonstrating creativity and sound aesthetic judgment in context of interactive projects such as websites, emails, and social media campaigns

    Video Editor

    Sounds True, a spiritually based, multi-media publishing company, seeks a full-time video editor to join our creative division. As video editor, this person will join the a/v production team to support the capture, editing, and delivery of Sounds True’s video content, in addition to our live event and live streaming efforts.

    Primary responsibilities include:

    • Editing video for online courses and other digital offerings
    • Managing review and approval of edited content
    • Camera operation and assisting with setting up video equipment for shoots
    • Technical Directing or otherwise supporting live streaming productions
    • Interpret creative direction and accept constructive design feedback
    • Media management through all stages of production including overseeing the Sounds True video archive
