The next great advance in biology will change more than science textbooks—it will revolutionize the way you live your life.
In the past, we've been taught that living beings are like machines run by biochemicals and DNA, explains Dr. Bruce H. Lipton. What we now know is that our entire biology is shaped by the intelligence of each of our 50 trillion cells. And the single most important way to influence them is through the energy of our beliefs.
On The Biology of Belief—an original author adaptation of Dr. Lipton's revolutionary book—this world-renowned cellular biologist explores the mysteries of:
- Summarize the history of biological theory and how genetic determination became a dominant theory
- Discuss Lipton's focus on the cell and how its functions relate to the human body as a whole
- Describe the functions and location of genes and proteins and the relationship between them
- Identify the differences between the conscious and subconscious minds and how they function together
- Explain how environmental stimuli influence our current immune and thinking states, and shape the contents of our brain
- The science of epigenetics—why biologists must look further than DNA to find out what shapes life—and how that affects you
- Bridging the gap between quantum mechanics and biology—the key to knowing how your cells listen to the energy of your thoughts
- The chemistry of stress and love—how your body, mind, and immune system change with each emotional state
- Turning the immense power of your subconscious mind into your most valuable tool for health and well-being, and much more
Since the publication of The Biology of Belief, Dr. Bruce H. Lipton has been widely embraced as one of the most accessible and knowledgeable voices of new biology. Now, join this pioneer of epigenetics as he takes you on a journey into the world under the microscope, through the ages of evolution, and into the miracle that is your own life.

Insightful Review by Kerry
I really appreciate the passion and enthusiasm the author has for his work and the insightful knowledge that he shares.
However, there is a lot of depth and detail to the scientific content and for a layperson like myself, it was challenging to digest the material due to the fast and continuous pace in which he spoke. I continually wanted to re-listen to segments, but trying to manage that process on my mp3 player while driving wasn't safe.
I would suggest that the producers at Sounds True pay more attention to recording details like this and help guide the recording process so the listening experience is optimized. (Posted on November 30, 2016)
Insightful and essential knowledge Review by LLLUKE
I've downloaded the audio book, and will be listening a third and perhaps multiple more times to retain all of the valuable information Dr. Lipton has shared from his research and life experience.
A person with an inquisitive mind and desire to understand fundamental truths about our humanity really must call this an important key to open the door to higher learning. Fascinating, sometimes overwhelming amounts of data (critical and worth repeating for understanding) and very satisfying.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write! (Posted on August 24, 2016)

Excellent book. My study group used this book for our discussion session and have continued to return to the concepts. I bought the audio version to keep the ideas alive. The topic is exciting!
Thank you, Bruce. (Posted on December 5, 2013)

This audio lecture was very well presented. I found the information easy to understand in contrast to reading Lipton's books. Most importantly, this material is critical in understanding our individual human consciousness, behavior, and how to most effectively make change. (Posted on July 5, 2013)

Review for The Biology of Belief Review by Sharon M
I am not a scientist but I am interested in human potential and what it takes for us to change.
Dr. Lipton presents a vision beyond the scope of traditional medicine, one that includes the interconnections between the energy of our beliefs, cellular behavior and epigenetics.
He challenges the primacy of DNA, outlines the quantum nature of information flows and the benefits of conscious living and parenting. Dr. Lipton is overwhelmingly hopeful and positive about a future we can create consciously. (Posted on July 4, 2013)

Informative and interesting. The best way for me to learn about the nature of things-- right in my study!
His lectures are clear and comprehensive for my non-scientific orientation. (Posted on June 30, 2013)

I love Bruce's enthusiasm for teaching how our beliefs create our realities! He comes across as walking his talk and presents the more technical material in easy to understand terms for the lay person. This CD bolstered my confidence to allow Life to live me, more freely! Thanks! (Posted on June 26, 2013)

Absolutely love the book. So very informative and to the point, even for a lay person. Have already listend six times, if not more. Fascinating. Only very disappointed that his other books are not in the audio format yet. I find it easier to listen from my iPhone while I am doing other things and would never have found the time to read the book six times....
Hope this helps - and please hurry up with the audio versions of his other books or lectures!!!
