Fields of Grace spans three worlds of sacred expression in one rich soundscape: the old style of Irish Sean-nós, medieval Gregorian chant, and more recent songs from the English hymn tradition. Sharing the musical inheritance of their mother Nóirín Ní Riain, brothers Owen and Moley Ó Súilleabháin blend beautiful harmonies atop a bed of relaxing instrumentation to carry us into a timeless lineage shared by all.
Owen and Moley Ó Súilleabháin grew up in a family deeply enriched by ancient and contemporary Irish culture. Based in the US, they travel extensively sharing their song, poetry, and story with audiences and organizations around the world.
“Here are blendings of chant, hymn, and instrumentation, so uplifting and mesmerizing they may bring your mind to a complete stop, which is a good thing if your thoughts are anything like some of mine.” —Billy Collins, Poet and US Poet Laureate
“This wonderful music is a meditation for both the heart and soul. Take some time away from your phone and your computer, close your eyes and allow yourself the freedom to enjoy this feast for the senses.” —Juliet Blake, Producer The Hundred Foot Journey, TED Curator—Special Projects.

Gorgeous, deep music Review by Sharon
Been listening. It's so lovely! It calms me down, takes me higher, takes me deeper, and sends out beauty in all directions. I have a friend coming over tomorrow and I promised to play her The Beatitudes. But I'm not ready to let her borrow it. She'll have to get her own. Well done, Moley! Well done, Owen! Uplifting brotherly sound Review by Peter
The blending of Owen and Moley's voices is truly unique; you can hear that they are related, and that beautiful brotherly sound makes this recording even more special. It makes the blend of traditional, even ancient songs with newly composed music and arrangement light and uplifting. I would love to see and HEAR this performed live. (Posted on September 8, 2016)
This is true Irish music! Review by Elizabeth
I've listened to the songs on Fields of Grace with the feeling that I've been waiting for them for many years! So often, Irish heritage in America is expressed as "pub songs" and sea shanties - overlooking entirely the ancient wisdom and spiritual beauty that Celtic culture and the history of that small island has to offer. Fields of Grace brings all of that heart, history, and hope to its listeners' ears! (Posted on August 29, 2016)
Blissfully Transported Review by SP
I cannot wait for the release of this full album! The four songs shared by Sounds True thus far have transported me to a heavenly space - mixing ancient Celtic refrains with beautiful new music... I know this music will find a home in my daily practice; I can't stop listening! (Posted on August 25, 2016)
