No Judgment, No Resistance - the Path to Liberation from the Pain-Body

Why do our negative experiences seem to stay with us so persistently? It is because they are the fuel for what Eckhart Tolle calls the pain-body, an energetic field that actually feeds on toxic thoughts and emotions. Liberation from the pain-body is not about repressing or denying our thoughts. Instead, as Eckhart's teaching partner Kim Eng reveals, we must develop a complete receptiveness to all experience - rejecting nothing, judging nothing, and resisting nothing.

On Resist Nothing, Eckhart and his teaching partner Kim Eng present essential wisdom and practices for dissolving the pain-body. Beginning with a 30-minute exploration by Eckhart into the nature of the pain-body, you will then learn five of Kim's most effective guided meditations and on-the-spot practices for clearing blockages, releasing unhealthy attachments, and becoming fully present in any situation. Join them to learn:

  • How the pain-body arises, what fuels it, and its role in the process of awakening
  • Healing at the physical, emotional, and subtle levels - guided meditations from Kim Eng for relieving suffering with spacious awareness
  • The Pointing Exercise - a key practice for dissolving our identification with the pain-body

Eckhart Tolle and Kim Eng teach that when we view the pain-body as a reminder to become more present, it can become a powerful ally in our awakening. With Resist Nothing, they offer an illuminating and practical program on one of the most important steps we can take on the journey to spiritual awakening.

Exactly what I was looking for. Review by AH

So many of the meditation and mindfullness cds I listen to are full of chit chat about how to avoid the chit chat. I love Tolle's wisdom already, but having it put into an accessible daily practice with Kim Eng is the perfect combination. Plus the fact that these are practically applied in daily living situations, is great. Now I can better follow my inner guidance and be more present, which is just the guidance I was looking for. I love Eckhart Tolle's introduction. I have never heard Kim Eng before and she does have a pleasant voice. I don't understand the pointing exercises and wish I could fast forward through this one. But I need to give it more time. I have listened to it about 3 times it's a little frustrating that I can't just get right to the meditation that I would like to have help with. This is a very helpful audio by Eckhart and Kim. Eckhart is on the first audio, but Kim is the primary narrator. I found this audio very helpful for learning about the pain energy body. You will be guided in how to recognize the pain body and how not to succumb to it. (Posted on March 13, 2014)

This was an excellent way to get in touch with the Now and loved the exercises and the practices. Kim has a very calm nurturing voice when giving the instructions, and I loved Eckhart's introduction (Posted on November 6, 2013)

maybe i'm just too unconscious but I didn't "get" the pointing exercise and some of the other ones included in this set. As always Tolle is very eloquent and seems to be coming from inner truth. Disendentifiying from your mind has been difficult thus far for myself and this audio program helped however it's not the "silver bullet". Then again maybe nothing is. Also , no offense to Miss Eng, but there is something both soothing and irritating about her words and voice. I felt stupid a couple of times during these recordings because of the wording and pace of the exercises. In her defense it was probably mostly my "little me" acting up. (Posted on August 15, 2012)

A very helpful programme, and one that is nourishing to listen to.

It would be more helpful if each of Kim's guided meditations was on a separate track so that they are easier to find for future use. (Posted on August 12, 2012)
