If your dog whimpers during a thunderstorm, freaks out when meeting new people, or barks when you leave him at home, now you have a tool to help — without resorting to sedatives. Music to Calm Your Canine Companion is the first in a series of music clinically demonstrated to deeply relax dogs.
Based on pioneering research into how the canine nervous system responds to sound, bioacoustic expert Joshua Leeds and concert pianist Lisa Spector have created music that is twice as effective as conventional classical selections for reduction of canine anxiety behaviors. Research conducted with 150 dogs showed that the bioacoustically designed classical piano arrangements on this CD induced calmness in 70 percent of dogs in shelters or kennels and 85 percent of dogs in households.
Through a Dog's Ear brings you gentle and timeless music that you can enjoy with your furry companion — and most important, help your “best friend” live a happier and healthier life.

My dog literally lays touching the speaker with her head when this CD is playing. Review by mackatx
It works! My old dog needs special care and this is one of the main care items. She chills out and doesn't move for the duration. We humans love it too! (Posted on July 15, 2016)

I didn't notice much of a difference in my dog, but I thought it was soothing. I wish the CD was longer, but I solved the problem by playing the CD & then hitting the 'repeat' button twice (it will show "all") and will continue to play until I shut it off! (Posted on July 1, 2016)

What a pain to download. Each song has to be downloaded individually. It would not work on my iPad,so I downloaded it to PC,where it went to quicktime, but not iTunes. Have no idea how to get it to iTunes so I can put it on the iPad.Have already wasted more than several hours trying to get this to work. The music is nothing special, just typical classical that I should have just went to the libray, checked out and burned to hard drive. If you do buy, I suggest getting the CD rather than download. Thank you, It was just what I expected. Had a little trouble with the download (I knew it was my fault) and called for help and all was solved in 5 minutes. (Posted on August 6, 2014)

Our foster dog relaxed almost immediately after I started playing this recording. Before that, she was so anxious, she just stood all day until she was too tired. We combined it with a few other things, but it definitely helped calm her down.
My only suggestion is to provide a receipt for purchases. (Posted on July 15, 2014)

My dogs love, it realy does calm them; therefore I love it, too. I have a boarding kennel and so far the dogs that have had to listen, seem to stay calmer.
Now all I need to do is get another CD player, since mine quit on me. (Posted on June 5, 2014)

This music calmed my dog IMMEDIATELY. The added bonus is that it calms me also. Thunder storms, fireworks and noisy neighbors in the upstairs apartment are now tolerated when we listen to "Through A Dog's Ear". (Posted on March 27, 2014)
