About Gioia Timpanelli

Gioia Timpanelli is an early and central figure to the storytelling revival. She has been performing for more than thirty years for audiences of all ages. Her book Sometimes the Soul: Two Novellas of Sicily (Vintage Books, 1999) won the 1999 American Book Award.
