Colletti delivers a perfectly balanced album that is upbeat enough to keep you energized, yet also serene enough to shift you into a state of peaceful, open receptivity.

Designed with a track list that can be scaled to fit any length of yoga class, Yoga Is Union delivers a fresh and modern musical offering created with a genuine reverence for the spiritual heart of yoga. “Our inspiration for the tracklist was Patanjali's eight limbs of yoga,” Colletti explains. “We made this music to be authentic while also being fun and liberating.”

Maybe You Have to Be from New York City

Maybe if you live in hustle and bustle of New York City, you will find this CD to be filled with music for yoga and relaxation. Some others of us, though, might find the constant percussion and banging jarring, so disturbing that it has to be turned off. Maybe the music on this CD is perfect if you're doing health club yoga, filled with athletic energy and constant movement. For me, for my home practice, it was impossible. I see from the other reviews that I am in the minority. C'est la vie!

Maybe in New York City

You probably have to be from New York City to find this CD relaxing or even conducive to a focused yoga session. Many of the tracks are filled with jangle and boom. Energizing? Perhaps for some.
