Review for Living Nonviolent Communication
I enjoyed reading the book and am using it as part of the curriculum I am developing for parenting classes in two Cleveland,OH recovery centers, Keating Center for men and THe Jean-Marie House for women. The participants seem to be enriched by
the knowledge and use of I-message, particularly. As you might know, anger problems are associated with drug use and using I-messages helps them communicate less antagonistically. Thank you for all the help you have given me with Non-Violent Communication since I first became aware of it in the nineties. I even had an opportunity to meet Marshall Rosenberg at The Merrick House, in Cleveland, and some other spots. I was then teaching a preschool prevention program for Cuyahoga County. It was for the Alcohol and Drug Abuse services board and serviced inner-city families, their preschool employees, the schools' children, and parents. Good luck to you in your continuing quest to educate all people in non-violent communication techniques and regular use.
