Awakening The Heart

I enjoy Reggie Ray's approach, using didactic lectures interspersed with powerful guided meditations. He knows what he is doing, is the real deal as they say. I am halfway through the course and have noticed a difference in the way I view my problems and the way I interact with others. I see myself changing, expanding my awareness and understanding. I am grateful for Reggie Ray, his teachers, and his teachings.

I'm a long time practitioner (50 years), returning to some root practices. I sat with some of the greats (including Trungpa) back in the day and now, living on a fixed income and in an isolated area, I am so grateful for these courses. Reggie Ray's work is such an incredible gift! Sometimes I think, "Oh, I wish I had 'met' him sooner" but I think it took me all this time "maturing" to really reap the depth of the benefit he is offering. There are several of us "old timers" who are working with these detailed cd's (Practice of Pure Awareness, etc.) and we are ALL blown away by the direct clarity of this teaching as we explore it in the context of the practices we have done for so long. Thank you Reggie Ray!!! and thank you Tami Simon for making this material available.

I read the webpage and . . . I just have to cry and cry and cry.

Tammy and Reggie, talking about the hammer and nail. Well this just went straight through my heart, right through in one blow.

Quote and adapting from the webpage, I would say :

I feel so lost and hopeless, and also so angry deep within, all the pains and hurts from days gone, still so alive within me . . . is there any way to find my way back to “open Heart” and “sensitive Living”???.
