I am a professional facilitator, consultant and author. I speak in front of groups and with new people all the time. Oftentimes I'd feel anxious and this would keep me from being FULLY PRESENT with others and not "in the moment". The process that Glickstein outlines in this book and has trained others to deliver in Speaking Circles - has really helped me loosen up, calm down and connect with people more. I love his voice on this audio book - in fact I keep this book on my playlist - where I have my meditation. This book is like a meditation to me. It reminds me to focus on listening and tuning into the other person (or a room full of people) instead of getting lost in "how do I look". Subtle, powerful and magical advice and has been a turning point for me. All interactions are easier and more meaningful now. Recommend this book and the Speaking Circle process to anyone who wants to "be them self" in a group and to speak with ease and confidence.

There was some focus on making my own speaking circle which was not something I was willing to do, since this was what the problem was to begin with. Otherwise, well articulated, interesting and helpful with speech tips but not with voices quivers.

Wonderful program. If you need to do public speaking, but fear is paralyzing, then you need this product. Mr. Glickstein coaches you through your fears and helps to reframe your current beliefs you have on this topic. What helped me most is that I don't have to be clever and funny in front of people to be a good speaker. Audience will not judge me or think that I'm a loser or boring. Next time that I'm going to speak in front of a group, I will talk to them like they are my old friends.
