I just finished telling a friend all about how helpful this course has been to me, and I came here to grab the link so I could share it with her. I was surprised to see the other review!
To me, this course has been incredibly helpful. (I had already read Widen the Window before taking the course.) For almost two decades, I've struggled with a lot of psychological and emotional "problems" that I spent so much time, money, and effort trying to solve. Well, I now know that I was really dealing with a tremendous amount of accumulated stress and trauma. Through this course, I've gained the skills to address that.
I'm not even completely through the course and already feel a thousand times better than I did. Yes, I went through a period where things got worse for a while, but I'm glad I've stuck it out.
The only critique I have of this course is that it could be better informed on behavior change and habits. There's a lot of advice to "go all in" or just stick with things for a certain amount of time. I have not found that to be helpful. I prefer the Tiny Habits approach of BJ Fogg, PhD. I recommend checking out his work in conjunction with doing this course. (You can take his online intro to Tiny Habits for free.) It helped me take the "what to do" that this course teaches around stress and trauma and actually change my behavior in helpful ways.
