I love this audio program. It's an excellent overview of the IFS system, presented in a concise, yet detailed, well-organized, easy-to-follow format. Jay is an excellent teacher, and his voice is very soothing and easy to listen to. I have learned a tremendous amount from listening to this program, and recommend it to my therapy clients - and highly recommend it to anyone seeking an overview of the IFS system. Thanks for putting together such a great product! (I also agree with what all the other commenters have said - especially the person who says they find this and Inner Relationship Focusing by Ann Weiser Cornell to be the most effective self-help tools they've found - I use both these tools myself, and completely agree.)
Of the many self therapy products I've used, this is the most effective by a long way, along with Ann Weiser Cornell's Inner Relationship Focusing.
A very clear, step by step explanation, with examples along the way.
With understanding and practice, I really can give myself an effective therapy session, so it lives up to its title.
I am really so impressed with this programme. It makes parts therapy so easy to understand and I really like Jay Earley's style of presenting the information. He also has a really nice speaking voice, very calming. I've already started to incorporate some of the tools into my personal and professional work and highly recommend this programme.
I love this guy and his work. Jay does a great job of explaining this therapeutic modality, and includes demonstrations with volunteer clients and meditations for practicing with oneself. I think it is a very powerful tool, and I'm so happy this audio program came my way just when I was looking for it. Jay's voice is very soothing, so it helps me to be in a quiet space where I can give it my full attention. Otherwise I might tune it out if distracted with other stimulation.
