Music can soothe the savage beast—including your dog! The music of the Through a Dog's Ear: Music to Calm Your Canine Companion series has been clinically tested to calm dogs, and in many cases, reduce anxiety. The instrumentation is simple—solo piano. The individual pieces have been selected and/or arranged to gradually reduce your pooch's heart rate to calmer levels. This is accomplished naturally by progressively slowing rhythms and simplifying auditory data. Tested on 150 dogs in shelters, clinics, and homes, the psychoacoustically designed piano music of Through a Dog's Ear reduces canine anxiety behaviors twice as effectively as conventional classical music.

Music to Calm Your Canine Companion, Vols. 1–3 are interchangeable and recommended for when you want your dog to rest, when your dog is left alone, or when anxiety or excitement in your dog is anticipated—thunderstorms, fireworks, or the arrival of guests. People will also find it to be deeply relaxing; for this reason please don't operate heavy machinery or drive when listening.

My wife and I just listened now to this smoothing music. Our hyper active Bearded collie came over laid down near us, crossed his front paws, and went to sleep. This is AMAZING!

I ordered this because I had heard that this music would calm an anxious dog. Doesn't work with my dog. I enjoy the calming music, but doesn't do anything for my dog.

all the 'thru a dogs ear music sound the same to me, even the cat one.

it is the piano, but also it is the music that

is played. there are so many repeats. also

some of the selections are not restful at all for the creature listening. some are even jarring. I am quite disappointed.

I haven't been able to download any of the items I purchased because I only have my Apple IPad & no PC or MP3 player. Any apps for I Pad download would be fantastic . That's the only issue I have. So be aware when you purchase from this site that you have the appropriate equipment to use the product.
