New techniques

I loved this program for the new balance and joint-loosening techniques. I found the ankle-releasing is vital to keep my feet from cramping up. Just remembering to throw in a few strides of ankle realease allows me to keep walking longer.

I downloaded this into an iPod over a year ago, with full expectation to complete and learn alot. I do walk a few miles almost every day. However, I don't think I've listened to even half the program. There are dozens of tracks with no identifier but a number. The tracks themselves can be a guided excercise,a time-beat, an introduction, a review, or an overview of the upcoming introductions to the long-awaited excercises!

And, there is so much repetition that I lose focus and then don't have any idea if I've already listened to a certain exercise or not.

There are valuable ideas in here, and I could get past the repititious repetition if the tracks were NAMED, say by which exercise or intro to which excercise or which overview of which intro to which exercise...

Review for ChiWalking

This is a three cd set with mostly Danny telling about the method of walking that is less stressful on the joints and feet. He slightly tells of visual sighting a point and walking towards it. This set is for walking on flat unobstructed areas..don't know of any of those myself. I would of liked to have known it was not for mountains. I do think the method will work on flat areas and will help increase our walking distance. I don't like how there is not an hour of walking with say music and every once in a while a reminder to check your stance and breathing, that was what I was looking for after learning the techniques. Danny must repeat at least four times the method of walking and loosening your joints (on the first cd and repeated again 11 minutes on the third cd ) before you walk. All of this could of went on one cd. Still looking for one I can listend to over and over that lasts an hour with beats under music.
